November 1 is a beloved and popular feast in the Catholic Church. It’s a day that remains alive with prayers, special foods, and lighting cemeteries with candles. It’s a tradition also at this time to “help the poor.” Masses on the Holy Day will be offered at 10:00 in the morning. A second Mass on that day will be offered at 7:00 in the evening. At that time we’ll remember the individual souls who have been buried from St. Ambrose during the past 12 months. There will be an opportunity for you to remember your family and friends who have died by lighting a candle and placing it on the altar. Time on Friday, November 1 for a celebration of Eternal Life? A dinner will be served in the ARK following Mass.
